Cheeky Cosmetics Haul and Liquid Lipstick Review

I’m so excited because I was working from home today, and received this giant box of goodies from Cheeky Cosmetics Australia!

I first found Cheeky Cosmetics Australia when they liked one of my photos, and I became obsessed with their hydrogel face masks that look like a lace masquerade mask. The more I looked through their feed, the more I saw the incredible products they sell like liquid lipsticks, and at home teeth whitening kits.

I reached out to them to grab some goodies for my bridesmaids, and myself and they unleashed this mother of all beauty hauls that's got me screaming HAUL-LELUJAH!

To see the rest of my bridesmaids haul posts, you can head to my new wedding section by clicking here to view “The Ultimate $4000 Bridesmaid Invitations”, “INIKA Organics Bridesmaids Haul”, and “Custom Compact Mirrors and Personalising Everything”.

To be completely honest there’s hardly any information about where they make their products, who manufacturers, or the ingredients (except for the face mask). They do specify on their website that their liquid lipsticks are cruelty free, and parabean free but has no mention of the other products. Fingers crossed that they are cruelty free across their range!

What’s in my haul?

Cheeky Cosmetics Australia went all out and sent over their entire new liquid lipstick range (ten in total), five at home teeth whitening kits, and five hydrogel face masks - in the cutest packaging too!

I’ve just started day one of my seven days as recommended on their website. The kit was very easy to use, and I love that actually get the adjust the mould to the shape of your teeth, and width of your mouth when you follow the instructions! This allows the whitening gel to have a better effect as it’s right up against your now customised mould.

You need to apply 0.5ml of whitening gel into each wall of the moulds, and leave them on your teeth for 30-45 minutes along with the LED light provided. They also stipulated that using more than 0.5ml will lead to gum sensitivity, and refrain from drinking coffee, smoking, or drinking red wine to maximise the length of time until your next round of treatment.

I absolutely love face masks because they feel like a spa pamper session but in the comfort of my own bed, bathroom, or wherever I end up wandering when I have one on. Face masks are a great method of getting tons of nutritional ingredients directly penetrating my skin (is anyone else weirded out using the word penetrate?) without having to pump myself full of pills that claim to nourish my skin!

I haven’t tried the Cheeky Cosmetics hydrogel face masks yet as I want to try them with the girls but here’s a few facts from their website…

The hydrogel face mask is proclaimed to be super hydrating, and compatible for dry to oily skin types. If you have dry skin they recommend using the mask for no longer than 10 minutes, and longer if you have oil skin! They recommend using the face masks 1-2 times a week so your skin is always glowing. I am a one time a week face masker.

Now time for the word vomit. Their face masks contain: Aqua, Vegetable Glycerin, Betaine, Aloe Barbadensis Flower Extract, Hydrolyzed Marine Collagen, Trehalose, Chondrus Crispus Powder, Ceratonia Siliqua Gum, Tocopherol (Vitamin E), Hyaluronic Acid, Astragalus Membranaceus Root Extract, Chamomilla Recutita (Matricaria) Flower Extract, Rosa Rugosa Leaf Extract, Glycyrrhiza Uralensis (Licorise Root) Extract, Anthemis Nobilis Flower Extract, Carbomer, Ethylhexylgycerin.

There are a lot of key ingredients in the Cheeky Cosmetics face masks that make them great for your skin. For example, Vitamin E repairs damaged skin, Hydrolysed collagen reduces flakiness, and restore suppleness, Hyaluronic acid hydrates skin therefore reducing the appearance of wrinkles, and Trehalose helps the skin retain moisture, and Licorice Root is an anti-inflammartorythat is used to treat skin disorders.

We Want To Know About Their New Liquid Lipsticks!

Obviously. Cheeky Cosmetics Australia released their new range of liquid lipsticks on August 1st 2017 in ten instaworthy shades.

They are lightweight, have a creamy formula, quick to dry, are a matte finish, and kinda smell like caramel when I tried it on (or was it because I was hungry hmm). They recommend exfoliating your lips before use which I 100% recommend always when applying lipstick.

Now time to share a little embarrassing story. After I created the above liquid lipstick colour swatch on my arm, I attempted to smudge it off. It didn’t come off. I tried to wash it off. It didn’t come off. I LATHERED MY ARM IN SOAP AND IT DIDN’T COME OFF.

It’s amazing. This liquid lipstick is so heavy duty that you could kiss an army of boys, and not a single one would have a flake of your lipstick on them - and they’re only $16AUD each!

Out of all the Cheeky Cosmetics liquid lipsticks, my favourite shades were Sellout, Day Dream, and Cherry.

Which liquid lipstick shade from Cheeky Cosmetics is your favourite? Or which of their products would you want to get? Let me know down in the comments xx
