My Mrs Ring And My Mrs Box

Exciting news - I found my dream wedding ring, and bought it on the spot! Just like when I first met my fiancé, it was love at first sight.

I'd love to give a big thank you to Anita at Michael hill for helping me through the entire process.

This is my second wedding ring (but not my second marriage)

You see, I bought my first wedding ring last ring December 21st 2017. We walked into the store, and there was a thin gold band, with diamonds all around it, and it was even on sale. It looked great with my engagement ring so I told myself, hey it's on sale, this could be the one.

So I bought it within 20 minutes of entering the store.

But the more I looked it every day, the more I realised it looked like one of my other rings. To mark important occasions, my fiancé buys me jewellery, and for really important occasions, a diamond ring.

First it was a promise ring when we were 15 years old. Next it was my engagement ring on our 5th anniversary. Then my 21st ring to mark my 21st birthday. And the last one marked me taking my first steps in my chosen career.

The first wedding ring I bought reminded me too much of my career ring, and I didn't want to wake up every day, look down at my hand, and confuse the two.

So I plucked up the courage, told my fiance the truth, and we went to the jeweller an hour later!

Michael Hill normally only has a 30 day returns policy but Anita arranged it so I could return my ring, and buy my dream wedding ring.

The ring is a thick gold band with rows of diamonds all around the band. We'll be resizing it, and getting the engraving closer to the wedding date. While I won't share what the ring looks like until after my wedding, here is a peak at some of my other rings!
