Today I attended the 'Hercules of the Hills' powerlifting event held at Adonis Athletics Castle Hill!
It was a great experience to watch everyone's hard work finally pay off as they gain some new personal records, and some compete for the first time, or the first time in a long time.
Special mention to my fiancé Albon Averion who came third place in his weight class! I have personally seen how determined he's been for months to keep pushing his limits, and his perseverance to work through any obstacles to get to where he is now. I honestly am so proud of his achievements today.
Next stop, Nationals at Melbourne!
