E-Living Furniture Review - Nook Bed Base

We’ve finally settled into our first home which is a 4 bedroom home in Sydney that we purchased in a land+home package. We love it so much because of the open space, lots of natural light, and light wooden features.

I’ve been styling all the bedrooms for the past week as all the furniture has been delivered. I chose to style bedroom 4 in collaboration with E-Living Furniture!

E-Living Furniture is an affordable, Australian furniture, and bedding brand that sells a wide variety of options suit many design aesthetics.

I picked the Nook Floating Bed Base in Natural Oak from E-Living Furniture in the size double which is only $445 so a bargain!

Eliving Furniture Delivery

E-Living Furniture provided free delivery to Australian, metro areas which can take 1-5 business days with the option of express shipping for $3.65 to my suburb which is next day delivery.

I received a text message when my bed base was loaded onto the truck, and I could track the delivery with live tracking.

The packaging was the standard, cardboard packaging. The Nook bed base came in 5 boxes, 3 of which were large. You’d definitely need to get someone to help carry them into the desired room.

The packaging itself was easy to open with scissors, and I appreciated that it wasn’t excessively packaged with plastic like some retailers.

Oh boy. The assembly instructions miss some steps such as how to attach the headboard, and is formatted in a weird way that it may confuse some.

I had to get my husband to help me assemble it as attaching the headboard to the side panels was an arduous process.

I’d say the only difficult part of attaching the headboard.

There is a lot of screws so definitely have an electric screwdriver.

Overall design

I think it’s a beautiful bed frame that suits our home nicely.

My husband, and I picked it due to the beige, upholstered headboard as it’s a golden, warm tone, as well as the light oak compliments the other wooden furniture throughout the house.

It has a floating design due to the recessed plinth base which helps make a room even more spacious. Our other bedrooms have king beds but we picked a double size for this so it would free more space.
